The Commission Process
You can contact me through my contact form or email me directly at email@example.com. You'll receive a response as soon as I can get back to you. Tell me all about your pet and your vision for your custom pet portrait. We can discuss sizes, backgrounds, and which photos will work best for your portrait. If you need further help, I can create mock (graphic) images of what your portrait options would look like.
Once we've decided on all the elements of your portrait, you'll receive an invoice for full payment (plus tax and shipping). Invoices are sent through PayPal directly to your email. From there, if you do not have a PayPal account, you can simply provide credit card information to complete the transaction.
Once payment is complete, your commissioned pet portrait will be added to the Imagine Art wait list. Average wait time is 6-8 weeks, although this can vary. If you'd like a more specific time frame, just ask! If your portrait needs to be expedited due to an upcoming event (birthday, holidays, etc.), a rush fee may be applied.
The Big Reveal.
When your custom pet portrait is complete, I will send you an email with an image of the finished portrait. This is your opportunity to let me know if you'd like any changes to be made before the portrait gets packed up and shipped out. It doesn't leave my studio until you're 100% satisfied!
Once you have given the OK for shipping, your portrait goes through a fine-tuned packing process to ensure that it arrives to you unharmed. A custom shipping container is cut and assembled individually for each portrait to prevent any damage during transit. Your pet portrait will be shipped via USPS with tracking and insurance. Your package's tracking number and estimated delivery date will be provided upon shipment.
