Summer, oh sweet summer!

Yea yea. Its hot. Very hot. And I LOVE it.

I hope you are all enjoying the beautiful warmth these weeks have to offer. I've been spending much of my time at our family lakehouse, where all 9 of us cram into a miniscule cottage to enjoy the gorgeous Lake Hayward!

In other news, I decided to jump right in and buy myself some decals for my car, advertising this very page! Its working out well, I think =]

Lately I've seemed to revisit my favorite pastime of "upcycling" unwanted items into decorative, functional crafts. So far I've altered some of my previously non-fitting t-shirts into some hardcore tank tops, made a wide assortment of look-a-like jewelry (that is - that I found something similar online for an absurd amount of money and instead made my own, for free!), and last but not least, have made an Etsy account for myself!

  I just started it up tonight, and hope to have some items for sale by the end of this week, so visit often! I plan on posted some handmade housewares, decor, jewelry, and even some fun handbags, all one-of-a-kind pieces handmade with recycled materials by yours truly =]
